Cancellation Policy

In-person workshop sales are non-refundable. Please be sure to double-check your schedule before signing up for a workshop. Our small team works very hard to organize each event. When you register for a spot in one of our workshops, you are reserving your spot and committing to join us for that date and time.

If for some reason, you need to cancel, your deposit can be used (minus a 10% processing fee) as a credit for future workshops within one year of purchase. After one year, your credit is no longer valid.

Online workshops are also non-refundable with zero exceptions. Since you will be receiving video links and/or documentation upon receipt of your purchase, there is no way to retroactively return those services.

Please email Meghan (meghanpurcellart@gmail.com) for all cancellations, or to use your credit to register for a workshop.

If Meghan is forced to cancel due to low attendance or other factors you will receive a full refund with the option of using your payment for future credit.

Credits are non-transferable, meaning they only apply to future in-person, or online workshops and not any other products offered by Meghan Purcell.

Photo and Video Release

Please be aware that Meghan Purcell may live stream or record workshops for later viewing. By participating in a class, you understand and agree that the class may be recorded and/or live streamed and you consent to the use of your image as it may appear.

Additionally, we may take photographs of any given workshop to be used for promotion and marketing for Meghan Purcell programing.

We welcome and encourage participants to share any videos or photos taken during workshops, we just ask that you credit and tag Meghan Purcell.

If, for any reason, you feel very strongly against having any images used, please contact us via email at (meghanpurcellart@gmail.com) following your registration.

Release of Liability

When you sign up for participation in any online or in-person workshops or events (collectively referred to as “the Activity”) hosted by Meghan Purcell, you agree to the following Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement.

I knowingly and voluntarily enter into this Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement (the “Waiver”) and waive any rights, claims, damages, injuries, costs, expenses, liabilities, demands, or causes of action of any kind (collectively, “Claims”) arising out of my participation in the Activity, and release and forever discharge Meghan Purcell, and its affiliates, managers, members, agents, teachers, staff, volunteers, legal representatives, successors and assigns, from any and all Claims for any type of physical or psychological injury to me, any illness, any property damage, or any other physical, economic or emotional loss that I may suffer as a result of my participation in the Activity, including during travel to and from the Activity or a Meghan Purcell event related to the Activity.

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Activity and am participating entirely at my own risk. I am aware of and accept all risks associated with participation in the Activity; the risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, natural disaster, wildfire, temperature, weather, contact with wildlife, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular malfunction, or the actions of others. I assume all risks, both known and unknown to me, in my participation in the Activity, including travel to and from this Activity.

I consent to and permit emergency medical treatment in the event of my injury or illness while participating in the Activity. In the event that I should require medical care or treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.

I agree to conduct myself in a safe and prudent manner at all times during the Activity. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in the Activity.

I acknowledge that I have carefully reviewed this Waiver and I fully understand that it is a release of liability.
